As an Interior Designer, I've been working with Michael and Julie for years. Here's what I love about them - they truly care about their work. In any situation where feedback is necessary, or perhaps a flooring installer scrapes paint off the wall for example, they're always incredibly accommodating to fix things right up to standard. I’m new to SOCAL and most things around here need paint! 😌I found Coastal Colors in my map, painter near me. Julie sent me to Vista paint for color ideas, got me a bid, and scheduled the job. Michael showed up and did everything he said he would. The job was complete, exactly as I wanted it in 4 days! I left a key for my vacant home and every evening I peeked in I was impressed with what I seen! I would call on them again and definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a good reliable painter! We could not be happier! Michael and Julie were amazing to work with from start to finish. Michael did an incredible job painting our entire house (it was a big job), and was literally here from early morning until late in the evening for a week straight. He works super hard and truly cares about his work. We also loved just having him around; he was always so incredibly nice that we actually miss him now, lol. Julie was super responsive/helpful and fit us into their schedule so that we could have our home painted before we moved in. We really appreciate them both and it is very evident that they care deeply for their customers and the quality of their work. They are an outstanding company and I am so glad we went with them. I was very impressed with Coastal Colors Painting. They were honest, reasonable and easy to work with. Michael had suggestions a two tone look for the kitchen and at first I didn't think I would go that direction, but after some contemplation, I decided to look into this and the results are spectacular. The kitchen looks and feels brand new. They did a great job, trying to restore the cabinets to even better condition than they have been in 15 years. They take the time to do things right and don't look for short cuts. I attached before and after pics of our kitchen. I'm so happy I went with them and will be using them for our exterior when we save up a bit more money. Highly recommend!!
Coastal Colors refinished the large built-in cabinet in our living room, and we would highly recommend their work. They were on time, affordable, and professional. The work was completed as promised, and our house was kept neat and tidy. Our cabinet looks great, and we will definitely use their services again when the need arises.
Michael and his wife Julie were a pleasure to work with. We had some scheduling and move in issues that we needed to work around and they were responsive. Mike lacquered our kitchen & bathroom cabinets. He also refinished the stair posts and rails and lacquered our new linen cab door fronts off site. Our project needed powder coating repair. this required delicate handling. The project was in a very high profile location. Michael, was able to provide the correct product to remove the paint that was over sprayed. Apply the correct coat. Saving us a lot of added cost. This guy was very professional. I strongly recommend him, and will be using his services in the future.

While Michael is somewhat expensive, his work is worth every cent. We had lower bids, some were cyber/online bids. Michael came to our home surveyed the cabinets we wanted to change color and very promptly gave us a bid. He is polite, professional, experienced and he was on time and personally did 100% of the work himself. He is a true craftsman owing to his experience and training in England. He provided excellent references of very satisfied clients. Our home is our castle and we wanted the work to reflect genuine skill and dedication... which Michael provided.
